Now I feel like I need to get out their debut or “Easter Everywhere” for a
listen. Or, there was an excellent tribute to Roky called — “Where the
Pyramid Meets The Eye”, that I think came out in the ’90’s that I haven’t
listened to in a while….
Killer!
Hi Matt, That must have been quite a experience to see the Legendary
Elevators! Roky seems to be a bit out of it. He is nothing like he was at
the Austin City Music Festival in 2005, shortly after his total
rehabilitation. But, I am still very happy for him to be able to rise up
from what he had become in the 1990s. His younger brother played a huge
role in getting Roky’s life turned around and getting him “On the right
track now”. Can you tell us who all was there? I take it that was
Tommy Hall on the Jug. Who was on drums? John Ike Watson? Stacy Sutherland
has passed away. I am going to look for more video of this show. Later on,
Ron
