  1. What about the freight elevator in the Starks Building?

  2. I just can’t believe they replace the 1928 Haughton. That one is so amazing
and historic and highly worthy of preservation.

  3. You’re right about me loving that 1928 Haughton. I was really hoping to
    ride that some day… :-(

  5. Andrew did you ever get a chance to ride the World Trade Centers Elvs?

  6. I remember every elevator on this list. The Krise building is being
renovated, and converted to apartments/lofts. Sadly, that means the
    elevator might not survive.

  7. Glad you had fun editing this! I really enjoyed it! I really hope to find
an old elevator like the ones you found!

  8. DieselDucy THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH SIR! I am autistic I know you mey
not be. I LOVE ELEVATORS. I always have loved elevators. Back when I was
young over 50 years ago I sat all day in University of Maryland Hospital
Green Street Building. They had 6 old Otis Elevators with the crank
controller. When I say I sat all day watching the elevators it sat there
watching 5 of six elevators LITERALLY ALL DAY!

I am SO HAPPY YOU EXIST. I never ever in all my days felt I’d ever find
another person on Earth with the same passion about elevators I share with
you. Yes I know all the brand names even many of the defunct elevator
companies. I all but forced my poor grandmother to remember everything
about elevators in buildings she visited during her day.

I love in a very tall building in with three old Otis Elevators dating back
to the mid 1970’s untouched for now. These three beautiful old Otis
elevators wont be here much longer. Our association will be getting rid of
all three over the next two years replacing them completly with new OTIS
    equipment.

  9. Well, Andrew, do you think I can do a video like this when I reach 1,000
    subscribers later this year?
