HIGHEST! 13th Floor Elevators – Easter All over (1967) Audiophile Edition 2.0 — 22 Comments

  1. This is a significant upgrade over the previous audiophile edition, which I
have since removed. Listen to this, and forget any other version of this
    album exists.

  2. Awesome sound. Just like hearing this album for the first time with
previously buried vocals and instrumentals made crystal clear. Thanks for
    this!

  3. wuha, really sounds better like all other versions ive heard! The sad thing
is i buyed the vinyl recently, so its kind of sad that they repressed not
this good version… “dust” sounds so much better here

  4. This album is one you dont skip over listen very carfully to the words
    Very telling

  5. A few years ago I bought a compilation CD, but it didn’t sound as I
remembered it from FM radio (KLOL) in the early 70s. Thank you for posting
these. Now I can actually hear what’s going on. Do you happen to have FLAC
versions of these that you can share?

  6. Don’t forget to join the 13th Floor Elevators Facebook Group! This is a
direct continuation of THE first Internet “Roky” group started waaaay back
in 1998 on Yahoogroups which moved to Google Groups and is now on Facebook.
Almost 2,000 Members including members of the band!

  7. This album is one you dont skip over listen very carfully to the words
    Very telling

  8. I have owned this LP in many formats over 40 years, and this is the
absolute best the Elevators have ever sounded! Spacious, balanced,
mastered beautifully at long last! I have played “Slip Inside This House”
for many, many people over the years, and almost every time their minds are
literally blown, and now it is finally as it should always have been.
Thank you thank you thank you!

  9. I have an autographed copy (you can still see Roky, Stacy, and Danny’s
signatures) of the original 1967 release in stereo. Bought it al UT COOP on
release day. Cover is worn some but the LP is in decent shape.

  10. holy shit the high freqs on this version kick the shit out of anything ive
    heard on youtube

  11. I’m in awe of the lyrical content of Slip Inside This House. The amount of
plaudits the likes of The Beatles and Stones got compared to Elevators
    staggers me.

  12. No….no. My CD sounds much better than this. Are you sure this didn’t end
up as an mp3 or something here?

  13. Do you have the FLAC files of this,Psychedelic Sounds, and Headstone? The
sound quality brings tears to my eyes
